You can now capture on show days in 30 minute intervals in the OMS: Show dates are used to display on show information on websites including MyProperty and your own website. In the property detailed views on websites, the on show information will be displayed to visitors. There is no need to remove on show dates, the system will automatically remove the on show event on the website soon after the finish date/time is reached.

Active stock report by listing date corrected

We've corrected a problem on the active stock report by listing date report. It will now also group listing dates by month-year in the correct order (latest first). About OMS reports There are various stock reports available in the OMS to print your listings. As an agent, you have the option to print your own stock. For users with office manager or office admin rights, complete stock reports for all agents are available.

Automatic removal of draft referrals

Draft referrals are now automatically removed from the system once a day. About the referral module: The referral module in the OMS allows inter-office referrals on a national basis for a group. Some of our top clients have thousands of active referrals (tracked by status) in the referrals module.

New MyProperty website (phase 1) launch imminent

Image
The new MyProperty website launch is imminent.  It will be faster, easier to use, attract more visitors from the search engines and provide better quality listings for visitors. Our big drawcard is the new ‘intelligent search’ feature which will be a first for the South African property market. Basically, it allows for natural language property searches .   Phase 1: Focusing on the basics The first phase will focus on the ‘basics’. This includes a completely new database structure which is really an evolution on the current model. It will allow for faster response times on queries and include new fields such as geocoding for all property listings. With the interface design our team have gone through a multitude of prototypes over the last few months and we are proud to say that the result is a distinct ‘web 2.0 look and feel’. We are also upgrading our current Microsoft SQL database version to SQL Server 2008 and our code infrastructure to .NET 3.5.   Phase 2, 3, 4 ….. S

An exclusive agreement between Private Property Listings and Entegral now provides estate agents the opportunity for premium advertising on SA' most visited property portal, www.privateproperty.co.za . Private Property took the strategic decision at the end of last year to open up their website to estate agents on a selective basis. Have a look at their blog post: http://www.privateproperty.co.za/Community/blogs/justinus_blog/archive/2008/12/04/31.aspx Property listings are captured and interfaced to Private Property through Entegral’s online property management system, the OMS . Private Property will systematically allow agents to sign up through one of their advertising packages. The packages also include automatic advertising on Entegral’s high traffic websites, including MyProperty and MSN property . Have a look at one of the listings that went live today: http://www.priva
