Property mandate expiry notifications & auto expiry of listings

We’ve introduced new inbox alerts in the OMS that will notify you of properties that will expire in 1 week’s time. It will provide the property reference number and address. If you click on it the mandate is opened where you can review it. Automatic Expiry of property listings The day right after the expiry date was reached, the property listing will automatically be expired and you will get another notification that the mandate has expired.  Property listings will now automatically expire (based on the expiry date) starting 1 April . Note that only properties where the mandate expiry date was marked 1 April or later , will get auto-expired.

A ground breaking new way to search for property: introducing POI (Point of Interest) searches on MyProperty

Property searches are generally conducted in the same old fashioned way: type in a suburb or choose an area from a dropdown and start your search. Not anymore! Introducing a completely new innovative way of finding property on the internet: search by Point of Interest (POI) . How does it work? Simply type in the POI name in the www.myproperty.co.za search box. Try enter ‘gautrain’ to search on Gautrain train stations or ‘university’ to bring up all the major universities in South Africa. We’ve also started to load shopping malls and schools and will continue to expand the list of available points.   Select a point and enter further filter criteria including the radius you want to search around the point, price range etc. Click search and properties withing a radius around the POI you’ve selected are displayed on a map with search results. Al properties have numbered markers and even have a ‘jumping’ marker to highlight them on the map when you hover your mouse on a p
