New a5 property brochure available in OMS

We’ve added a new a5 generic property brochure to the OMS. You will find it by opening a listing and clicking on the reports section:   The brochure is right aligned to an a4 landscape page and contains the office and agent details, main property photo and description.

OMS Stock report enhanced with property notes

The listing stock report (one liner & contacts) have been enhanced to include property notes if captured. The stock report have been renamed to l isting stock (one liner & contacts & notes) and can be found under the reports section. It will include all notes captured on property listings. Notes captured are only for your view and not made available to the public.

OMS SMS briefcase facility

The OMS briefcase SMS facility is now working correctly again. We had downtime yesterday (15 Feb 2010) due to an important account upgrade through our sms service provider.

Update on FNB Quicksell & Private Property export

We’ve loaded an updated today for the FNB Quicksell and Private Property export option in the OMS. In some instances properties were incorrectly exported to these sites without the option being selected. A property listing appearing on Private Property that shouldn’t be there? 1. Please open the online marketing section of the property in the OMS. 2. If the Private Property checkbox is already checked, simply uncheck it and press save. 3. If the Private Property checkbox is not checked , check it and press the save button, then uncheck it again and press save again. The export on all future listings should work fine, let us know should you encounter any difficulties.

x2 new standard property brochures now available

We’ve included 2 new property brochures in the OMS, you will find them when you open up a property listing and click on the report tab: - 4 photo residential, 1 large photo and 3 smaller photos - 4 photo generic, 1 large photo and 3 smaller photos Sample of the new 4 photo residential brochure: Note : the main photo is the first photo appearing under the listings photos in the photo tab. You can change the order of the photos if you would like to see a different main photo in these brochures. Brochures are automatically exported in an optimised PDF format for you, this makes it easy to email them to your clients.

Using the OMS Map Explorer – a practical example

The OMS Map Explorer is a great tool if position is a key component for your client. Here is a practical example. “My client is looking for a townhouse under R1m near the N12 highway on the East Rand, Gauteng” Open up the Map Explorer link from the OMS Dashboard, then: (1) I select ‘all agents’ from the agent dropdown to filter on everyones stock in the office; (2) I leave country and province as is to filter for all stock on my books; (3) I select ‘townhouse’ as property type (4) I select price range ‘any minimum’ to ‘R1,0M’ (5) I click on the filter button which filters all properties that matches the criteria and plots it on the map I can show this to my client and easily identify townhouses near the N12 highway as indicated below. I can click on a marker and it will provide a brief description and link to the property. The client is impressed, as they can instantly see the location of the properties.
